I took my Lola Kitty to the groomers yesterday and they had to shave her because he hair got all knotted 😢 But she’s still my beautiful little girl! I’m glad she’s all clean now!

I’m sad to say that my time at the Disneyland Resort has officially ended. I had lots of fun and met a lot of really great people who I’ll miss, but the time has come for me to pursue another career. Thanks for the memories, Disney. It’s been fun. #disneycollegeprogram #disneyland

Secret Rules Disney Has For Their Employees!

People who work in Disneyland or Walt Disney World amusement parks are held to a higher standard than the employees of most companies, or even other theme parks. Let’s take a look at some of the interesting (and some disappointing) rules these “cast members,” as they’re known by Disney, have to live by!

Read on

I am Disney Cast Member and this is all true.

these are all so fucking true and it’s what made the experience ALMOST A BIT HELLISH AT THE SAME TIME

the tattoo isn’t necessarily true though…you can have them as long as you can cover them up

i knew a lot of people with tattoos and piercings laksjdf

I get that if you work for Disney you become a role model. What I don’t get is why having a tattoo or piercing would make you a bad one for children. I understand that if you’re being hired for the role of a character that you have to be similar to the character and unfortunately, most Disney characters have no visible tattoos. But in my opinion, this rule is simply for just to make the experience of Disneyland realistic and fun for the kids (as they recognise the characters) not because someone having a tattoo or piercing would automatically make them a bad role model.

Well, when you’re as big of a company as Disney, you have to be mindful of ALL cultures, and you especially have to be mindful of not “offending” these cultures as well. Not that I think tattoos or piercings are offensive, but they can be viewed as such in more conservative cultures. I don’t think the Disney Company has anything against those who have tattoos (I have managers at Disney who have several tattoos and piercings), but they have to take all the precautions and cover all base.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about working at Disneyland is that some guests feel VERY entitled and WILL complain about whatever they can.

It’s not only the Company that holds you in high standards, it’s the guests too.
